Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Nordic Expense ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Nordic Expense provides personal and family expense tracking through web, Telegram bot, and WhatsApp bot interfaces. Features may vary by subscription plan.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You may not share your account with others (use Family Plan for shared access).
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Impersonate others or provide false information

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • Free plan is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee.
  • Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
  • Refunds for unused subscription periods are at our discretion.

6. Your content

Your expense data belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it will be error-free, always available, or that OCR/AI results will be accurate. Financial data extracted by AI should always be verified by you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nordic Expense is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted. You can export before terminating.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
